Description:
A wings & slicks single seater with a 2 Ltr. Zetec engine designed for a single car class in the UK. Supplied with various spares including additional monocoque & body kit. Would suit a driver looking to gain experience in a fast single seater on a low budget. This is a genuine F2000, and not a formula Ford dressed up. The chassis has undergone a rebuild with a new aluminium floor added, since being brought to Australia.
 

Formula History:
Formula 2000 was conceived to revive wings and slicks cars in the UK as a one make class featuring cars similar to Vauxhall Juniors. The inaugural year featured a £40,000 prize to anyone capable of winning all the series races from pole, which was actually achieved.

Recent History:
The car was raced in the UK in the Monoposto series up until 2003. The car was bought to Australia in 2004 were it has undergone a re-build of the chassis. All major mechanicals have been done, new braided oil lines, new dry sump tank, new water system, samco hoses, new master cylinders, substantial re wire, refurbished exhaust and carbon muffler etc. Some cosmetic requirements, brake bleed and bolt check required, and she can be raced.
